If your PC is out of Venice, and you have NOT arranged it with the Staff beforehand as far as WHO and HOW you’re continuing to communicate with Venice, it does NOT happen.
Messages sent anywhere outside Venice, no matter the method (courier, carrier pigeon, ship), MUST BE written up and sent to the game email first, otherwise they DO NOT HAPPEN. Don’t make us retcon your head.
Many things have to be taken into account for missives sent anywhere outside Venice – weather, seasons, pirates and enemies, political climate, other potential PC or NPC actions working against you. Therefor, sending messages anywhere TAKES TIME. Email does not exist in Dark Ages.
BLATANT META-GAMING WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. I believe this has already been said before, but bears repeating. If Staff tells you your message will get to PC A but it will take two weeks, respect their ruling. (And get that ruling written in the Chronicle.) Don’t rush ahead and tell PC A right away anyhow, that WILL get you into trouble. Respect the game, it’s time period and rules, and all the hard work we Staff put in to giving you folks a good time.
Game on! ST Alex
