If there is no celerity bomb, what is level 3 celerity in this game?

I believe I do have a solution for this, bear with me until I can confirm the change with the rest of the Staff.

Tonight you're all gonna be part of a social experiment. Through the magic of diesel fuel and ammonium nitrate, I'm ready right now to blow you all sky high. Anyone attempts to get off their boat, you all die. Each of you has a remote... to blow up the other boat. At midnight, I blow you all up. Celerity: No Celerity Bomb Instead we'll be implementing a Celerity retest called "Haste", functioning similar to "Might" for Potence. You can it as a final retest for Celerity challenges based off dexterity/agility/speed actions. Might and Haste can cancel each other out.

Do Might and Haste stack ... ? "I retest Might ... fail .... Ok, I retest Haste" etc ...

Nope you can use one or the other. Might is more geared towards brute force related actions where as Haste is geared towards speed related actions. If your in a situation where it could be considered a grey area, you can only use one as a retest, not both.

Also, Might is only useable in a test that uses specific strength related traits. I'm assuming Haste will work the same with traits like quick, dextrous and the like

I realize this is now a dated topic, not to mention irrelevant for me as my character doesn't have this power, but my question is why was there a change in the first place? What was wrong with the Celerity bomb that it had to be scrapped and replaced?

The general function behind is was considered overpowered by Alicia given that Celerity has multiple actions and retests within a combat round. Given we've all seen the abuses of Celerity at various games, we wanted to attempt to implement something a little less broken. Having seen and been on the recieving end of multiple bomb testings, we felt it would be better to have an overall Celerity based retest rather than use the bomb where Celerity is concerned. Is it perfect? No, some have argued that we broke it further, but seeing that hardly any players have chosen to augment Celerity, we haven't had a bout of real tests to see if it works or not.
