Overview:
It is our intention to provide a high quality game that is rich in story and role-play. You are entering a world where people know there are things that go bump in the night. Together we'll revisit a forgotten age in which anything is possible as might and magic abound. We proudly present to you Blood in the Water. To that end, the ST and supporting staff will need to make quick judgements when concerning rules and situations. If you are unsatisfied with a ruling please wait until AFTER the scene is completed before pulling staff aside to discuss the issue. So for the Rules Lawyers please bear in mind that Faith and Fire is a book of guidelines. We will deviate from certain rules at times if it encourages further role-play.
Questions:
Questions may be posted under the Question and Answer board or sent to BloodintheWaterST@gmail.com
Blood In The Water is an 18+ older venue. No pets, no small children without prior approval from Staff AND the residence owner. Minors need an adult guardian's approval/meet with staff prior to minor playing.
XP:
A total of 5xp points may be earned for each game session.
Two XP points are awarded at each game for participating.
One XP is given for those who help set up and clean up the game site.
One XP is given to the Chronicler. This person writes down those who attended game, makes notes of storylines, and records downtime actions for the ST.
One XP may be awarded for above and beyond costuming.
Extra XP may be awarded for downtime actions/adventures/forum postings that encourage further role-play or storylines; supervised by a staff member between game sessions.
Downtime Actions:
We highly encourage downtime actions, however please submit them by the middle of the week before game so the ST has time to analyze them and make adjustments to on going storylines.
Diablerie:
XP will not be awarded for Diablerie. You can lower yourself in gen however there are consequences that come with this. Actions will be taken a situational basis depending on the circumstances and players involved.
Character Death:
Players are allowed to create new characters with 50% of their total xp upon character death.
No Contact Rule:
If you are away from game for over 3 months, you must contact one of the ST Staff to let us know the reason. You can still run downtime if you like, just let us know! If you don't contact us within a three month period (6 games), we reserve the right to move your character to NPC status and use them to advance the storylines appropriately. This can include death of the character. Be advised.
