Disciplines Rules:
Characters wishing to teach others disciplines must adhere to the following:
You can only teach or learn a discipline to/from someone else per game session. You cannot do both at the same time. This is to provide the proper instruction needed for a fellow vampire to learn a new discipline.
Example: 1st game of the month, Bob will teach Mary Auspex. He cannot learn a discipline from someone else during this time period of instruction. The same goes for Mary that she cannot teach someone a discipline during this time.
All discipline instruction sessions must be logged in the Chronicle.
You may only learn one discipline per game session.
No Elder Disciplines/Combo Disciplines will be allowed.
The basic disciplines (Animalism, Auspex, Celerity, Dominate, Fortitude, Obfuscate, Presence, Potence) require the 1st and the 5th levels to be taught by another player if the discipline in question is not considered in clan.
Clan Specific Disciplines require all levels to be taught.
Discipline Notes:
Auspex: Anima Walk
Any use of the ability to "materialize" while using Anima Walk will cost 1 willpower point per scene or half of the character total willpower pool to use it for the rest of the evening.
Celerity: No Celerity Bomb
Instead we'll be implementing a Celerity retest called "Haste", functioning similar to "Might" for Potence. You can it as a final retest for Celerity challenges based off dexterity/agility/speed actions. Might and Haste can cancel each other out.
Mortis: Corpse of the Monster is a restricted path, this requires both a superior background and ST approval to learn.
You must advance your primary path to the 3rd discipline before you can start learning another path of Mortis either through research or by a mentor's tutoring. You must be at least 3rd level to start learning basic disciplines of another path, and 5th level in your primary path to learn Intermediate/Advanced disciplines in alternate paths.
Obtenabration: You can only pop as many tentacles as you have levels in Obten.
Nocturne: Players are 2 traits down and require an automatic retest when attempting to fight in darkness. Eyes of the Beast, Hightened Senses, and Tongue of the Asp reduce trait penalties by one each. Expenditure of Blindfighting will cancel the automatic retest required. Blindfighting is the appropriate ability retest.
Thuamaturgy:
All Tremere must start with Path of Blood.
You must advance your primary path to the 3rd discipline before you can start learning another path of Thaum either through research or by a mentor's tutoring. You must be at least 3rd level to start learning basic disciplines of another path, and 5th level in your primary path to learn Intermediate/Advanced disciplines in alternate paths.
Rituals:
All rituals are allowed per Faith and Fire rules.
